Privacy Policy

This policy explains how BreadMilk Entertainment handles information when you use Hidden Duck.

In short: Hidden Duck has no user accounts, does not ask for your name or phone number, does not use advertising identifiers, and does not sell personal information. We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand game usage and diagnose technical failures.

Information processed

Hidden Duck stores game progress and preferences locally on your device. This includes completed scenes, scores, discovered ducks, audio settings, and similar gameplay state.

Google Firebase may automatically process:

app interactions and gameplay events, such as starting or completing a scene, selecting a mode, finding a duck, or using a hint;
app-instance identifiers that are not advertising identifiers;
device and app information, including device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and general technical configuration;
crash reports, stack traces, diagnostics, performance state at the time of a failure, and custom diagnostic context attached to an error; and
general geographic information inferred from network information, where provided by Firebase.

We do not intentionally log duck names, custom user text, precise location, contacts, photos, payment details, or advertising identifiers as analytics events.

Why we use this information

We use aggregated gameplay analytics to understand which features work well and where players encounter difficulty. We use crash and diagnostic information to find defects, improve stability, and support users. We do not use this information for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Service provider

Google LLC provides Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics and processes service data on our behalf under Google's applicable terms. Learn more from Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.

Retention and disclosure

Local game progress remains on your device until you reset it or remove the app. Firebase data is retained according to our Firebase settings and Google's service policies, then deleted or aggregated. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or to service providers operating the game for us. We do not sell personal information.

Children and families

Hidden Duck is designed to be enjoyable by families. We minimize data collection, do not use personalized advertising, do not collect advertising identifiers, and do not provide public chat or user profiles. A parent or guardian may contact us with a privacy question using the email address below.

Your choices

You can erase locally stored gameplay data using Reset All Progress in the game's Settings screen or by deleting the app. You may contact us about privacy rights available in your region. Because the game has no account and we do not know your Firebase app-instance identifier, we may need information from you to determine whether a specific service record can be identified.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No transmission or storage system is guaranteed to be completely secure. Firebase may process information in countries other than the one where you live, subject to Google's contractual and legal safeguards.

Changes

We may update this policy as the game or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the effective date.
